UFIT’s On-Demand Studio is a self-service video recording studio open to all UF faculty at no cost. The studio is built to capture high-quality video lectures with professional caliber lighting and audio in a comfortable and quiet environment—and all you need to bring is a flash drive. The On-Demand Studio is located in The Hub, room 225. Our team is on hand to help you get set up and answer any questions about the process.

Where is the studio located?

The On-Demand Studio is located in The Hub room 225. The Hub is located on the main campus at

When can I use the studio?

The ODS is open during normal business hours, 8:00AM - 5:00PM Monday - Friday

What do I need to bring?

Please bring a USB Flash drive, minimum 8GB, formatted in FAT32.

How can I edit the videos?

The ODS is strictly for recording. You can use UF’s My Mediasite web editor to make simple edits and host the final video in Canvas. For more information about setting up a My Mediasite account, use this contact form to get started.

Can I use a PowerPoint?

Yes, the ODS is equipped with a PC that you can log into via your Gatorlink credentials. The PC can run PowerPoints that will be captured in your video, and you can also use the PC to check your video files after you’ve finished recording.
