Join Course Mapping Camp and Start Your Course Out on the Right (or Left) Foot!

Did you know that CITT now alternates the modality of our Course Mapping Camp so that itโ€™s offered both in-person and online each year?

There are now two ways to attend the workshop:

  • In-person: This continues to be an immersive 2-day workshop where instructors are given dedicated time to work on their course in the meeting space with instructional designers available to assist. This workshop meets from 9am-4pm daily with an hour break for lunch.
  • Online: This abbreviated online workshop provides daily instruction and time for Q&A and sharing via Zoom but gives participants the flexibility to organize their work time outside of the meetings. This workshop meets each morning for 90 minutes and each afternoon for one hour.

Regardless of how you choose to attend, facilitators will guide you through the stages of developing a course map (similar to a course architecture) that can be used to develop (or revamp) a course you plan to teach. Physical flip charts, post-its, and other materials are provided when we teach CMC in-person, and digital templates are provided when we teach online. All participants are added to our Canvas site to access handouts, additional resources, and download their digital badge and certificate.

In addition, the Center for Teaching Excellence will count attendance of this workshop toward their the Passport to Great Teaching Program.

Consider registering for the next offering of Course Mapping Camp (April 27-28, online), weโ€™d love for you to join us!
