When building a course do you often find yourself wondering how you can make your content more engaging, fun, and interactive?
If so, then you’ve come to the right place! Here, at the CITT we’re always looking for new and innovative ways to address that question and one we’re really excited about is Lumi — a free tool for editing interactive H5P content that can be exported and used in Canvas courses or on websites.
H5P is a collection of free, open-source, and online activities that allows users to create interactive content such as flashcards, crosswords, branching scenarios, memory games, timelines, word finds, and more. Lumi lets you edit and share H5P content online free of charge! It also allows you to export H5P files into SCORM packages so your activities can be graded in Canvas — an awesome bonus feature.
Tech Byte: Create Interactive Course Content with Lumi and H5P
We’re so excited about Lumi that we’re offering a free, online workshop on February 7 from 10:30a-12p to share why and how to use it, and give you an opportunity to make your own activity with a small group of others also interested in using the tool.
Register here for what will be an ill-Lumi-nating experience. See you there!
