Why Work with an Instructional Designer?

As an instructor, you are an expert in your field! You spent years studying the content and continue to explore current research topics. Combined with our knowledge and background in various educational aspects, we can create an engaging and accessible educational experience for your students. Even if you have been teaching for years, I would like to highlight some of the ways in which instructional designers can be of assistance.

  • Using the UF+QM Standards, we will guide you through the process of aligning course content and assessments to objectives. We will provide suggestions for ways to design assessments and incorporate tools for courses at all levels and all class sizes.
  • We will work to ensure that we are providing students with an inclusive and accessible community for learning. Whether itโ€™s through course design, creating accessible content, or submitting closed captioning requests, we want to make sure we are setting the students up for success.
  • Student engagement is a big part of student success! Itโ€™s important to provide opportunities for active learning and collaboration, while also emphasizing academic rigor.
  • We have two new studios for your recording needs. You will want to check out their studio and field production sizzle reels to learn more about their services!

Whether you just need help reimagining an assessment, are interested in exploring a tool, are contemplating moving various components of your course online, are considering enhancing your online course, or are creating a new online course, we are here to help! And the best part is, with few exceptions, our services are free!
